The Mucem is open to groups from 9 to 11 am every day, except Tuesdays.
Reservations are required for groups of 7 or more (including guides and helpers). The maximum group size is 25 people (including guides and helpers). All group tours require an advance booking with the Reservations Department, at least three weeks in advance for guided tours and one week in advance for independent tours.

The Mucem offers a number of materials to help social facilitators (employees and volunteers in the social sector) prepare for a visit:
—Presentation of the Mucem and its programme of activities on request at their organization (make an appointment: relais@mucem.org or +33 (0)7 84 44 86 13)
—Discovery tour for social facilitators
—Free access to educational materials
—Free entry for one person upon presentation of the tour confirmation at the information desk.
 
 
On the day of your visit, please go to the group information desk with a copy of your booking confirmation.
A picnic area is available in the gardens of the Fort Saint-Jean.

 

Prices

Visitors receiving welfare benefits are entitled to free admission.

Free entry to the Mucem’s permanent and temporary exhibitions is granted to the following with documented proof*:  
 
— Job seekers (documentation dated within the last six months)
 
— Recipients of minimum allowances
 
— Recipients of Universal Medical Cover, of the Transport Solidarity Card
 
— Asylum seekers and refugees
 
— People with disabilities and a helpe
 
— Children under the age of 18
Free entry to the museum’s permanent exhibitions is granted to the following with documented proof*: — Young adults under the age of 26 residing in the European Economic Area, regardless of nationality
 
— All visitors on the first Sunday of the month
Guided tour, 1 hr or 1:30 hrs €50 per group (including Mucem admission).
Independent tour No reservation fee (Mucem admission not included).

* Current documentation. Official identification will also be requested if the documentation does not include a photo.
