Journées d’étude

Cet atelier international et interdisciplinaire invite des chercheurs anglophones et francophones à engager des réflexions interdisciplinaires et à poser des questions méthodologiques sur le thème du changement climatique en mer Méditerranée.

Il poursuit l’objectif de proposer des orientations de recherche et des pistes d’action pour l’avenir associant scientifiques, gestionnaires et décideurs. Il s’agit d’identifier les collaborations à mettre en place pour soutenir et renforcer la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie régionale visant à accroître les capacités des AMP (aires marines protégées) à s’adapter, à gérer et à suivre en réseau d’une façon standardisée et pérennisée l’impact du réchauffement climatique, notamment dans les ASPIM (aires spécialement protégées d’importance méditerranéenne), afin d’aboutir à un suivi régional du phénomène, basé sur la Convention de Barcelone.

This international and interdisciplinary workshop aims to give anglophone and francophone researchers the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary reflections and to pose methodological questions on the unifying theme of climate change in the Mediterranean Sea, while pursuing the objective to propose research orientations and joint lines of action for the future between scientists, managers and decision-makers.

This workshop will last 2 days and consists of 3 sessions :

—Climate Change Monitoring Indicators (SPA/RAC & Blue Plan)

—Role of MPAs in climate change adaptation (MedPAN & MedECC)

—Mediterranean fisheries in a context of climate change (LabexMed)

Presentations (in English and French) will be organized in panels and followed by a discussion.
