To best prepare your visit to the museum, we recommend that you read through the practical information.

 


Visitor assistance tools for the hearing impaired


Hearing impaired visitors with a hearing aid can receive amplification:
– in the auditorium, where most of the cultural and artistic events take place;
– on guided tours by borrowing a personal magnetic induction loop from the information desks at the J4 and Fort Saint-Jean and for the multimedia guide, borrowing a personal magnetic induction loop from the information desks.
 
The films presented in the exhibition spaces are subtitled in French.


Come with a group


Special time slots are reserved for groups, to ensure specially catered service and mediation. Reservations are required for groups of 7 or more (including guides and helpers).

€50, including the reservation fee, tour guide and audiophone equipment, as available. FSL tours are limited to 15 participants per tour, to ensure that all the guests have a clear line of sight of the signer.
Independent tour No reservation fee. Persons with disabilities are entitled to free admission for themselves and one helper. Documentation of the disability is requested.

Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance for guided tours and one week in advance for independent tours. When booking a reservation, please explain the types of disabilities in your group. Do your guests have:
– motor issues;
– sensory issues;
– comprehension issues;
– concentration issues; or
– other issues?

This information is very important to the enjoyment of your tour. It will enable the Mucem’s information and mediation staff to better accommodate your group. On the day of your visit, please go to the group information desk with a copy of your booking confirmation.
