The MuCEM, in partnership with higher education establishments, offers training courses that combine knowledge of the cultural contexts of Europe and the Mediterranean with communication of the museum’s professional practices (documentation, collection, conservation, restoration, mediation, etc.).
Within this framework, the MuCEM and the National Heritage Institute, partnered to create the Mediterranean Institute for Heritage Professions (I2MP).
The MuCEM is also involved in initial training (participation in international masters programmes, proposal of research subjects based on collections of objects and documentation, organization of doctoral workshops, museum studies classes, summer school classes, etc.).
Lastly, beginning in September 2014, the MuCEM will be hosting Ecole du Louvre classes in the different regions of France.
