Collections and resources available to you

In addition to the exhibitions on display at the J4 and Fort Saint-Jean, the MuCEM also fulfils its mission of showcasing its collections at the Centre for Conservation and Resources. Grouped together in the bright and welcoming spaces of the ground floor of a building designed by Corinne Vezzoni, several viewing rooms are open to anyone wanting access to the museum’s documentary resources and collections: heritage professionals, researchers and students, journalists, writers, performers, artists, craftsmen, designers and creators, academic institutions or the merely curious-minded.

All the MuCEM’s resources are accessible on site: collections of objects, texts, illustrations and photographs, audiovisual works and non-digitized pieces, documentation on artwork and the main themes of anthropology, as well as the museum’s archives and surveys.
